Ben Omollo

Partner

Ben is a Partner at BernardFrank, and also the Director in charge of our Audit and Assurance services. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Strathmore University, and MSc. degree in Public Financial Management from University of London (UK). 

He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK), a fellow and practicing member of both the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Zambia Institute Chartered Accountants (ZICA). Ben is a respected audit and management consultant with over 15 years of experience in Assurance and Business Advisory.

 His specialization is in Public Financial Management reforms and fiscal policy, Audit and Assurance services, as well as Technology, and Process assurance in the public and private sector. He has acted as Fiduciary and Fund Monitoring Agent as well as Technical Assistance consultant for various international development agencies and Governments in Africa and Asia, and sits on various boards. 

Prior to joining BernardFrank, Ben worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Kenya and GFA Consulting Group of Germany

Eric Otieno

Partner

Eric is a partner at BernardFrank under Business Advisory he is also the leader in charge of our Corporate Finance and transactions-Deals advisory for mergers and acquisitions including Initial Public Offering (IPO) listings as well as IFRS compliance Assurance. 

Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Moi University, and MSc. degree in Corporate Finance from Cambridge University (UK). He is a Chartered Accountant(FACCA-UK) and an experienced audit and assurance professional with over 12 years of experience in business advisory. 

He is specialized in complex capital, transactions and deals advisory services including mergers and acquisitions, and statutory audits. He has acted as a lead auditor for publicly listed company as well as several NGOs in Kenya and abroad, and sits on various boards. Prior to joining BernardFrank, Eric worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Kenya and UK.

Maria Ndungu

Senior Manager

Maria is a Senior Manager at BernardFrank under our Audit and Assurance line of service. She oversees Internal and External Audit engagements for a wide spectrum of clients in both private and

public sector. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business-Finance from United States International

University (USIU), and is a Chartered Accountant (FACCA-UK). Maria is an experienced audit and assurance professional with over 10 years of experience in Assurance services and is specialised in systems and financial statements audit, process and risk assurance, including Technical Assistance where we help organisations to implement recommendations from other audit

and assurance service providers. Prior to joining BernardFrank, Maria worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Kenya.

Nicodemus Nyaure

Partner

Nick is a Partner at BernardFrank and is also the Director is in charge of our Internal Audit, and Business Process Outsourcing as well as our Risk and Forensic and Business Recovery lines of service. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from University of Nairobi, MSc. degree in Procurement and

Supply Chain from University of Salford (UK), and MBA from United Stated International University (USIU). He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant of Kenya

(CPAK), Certified Public Secretary of Kenya (CPSK), and a Chartered Procurement Specialist (CPS-UK). Nick specialisation is in IT systems audit, management systems, procurement audits, forensic fraud investigations as well as research and learning. He has acted as a lead consultant for various publicly

listed companies in Kenya and U.S as well as international development agencies globally.

Prior to joining BernardFrank, Nick worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Kenya, Mo􀆩 MacDonald (UK), and Chevron in USA.

Nina Ambeva

Associate Director

Nina is an Associate Director at BernardFrank, and is also the leader of our Human Resource Consulting and Business Process Outsourcing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from United States International University (USIU), MSc. 

Degree in Industrial and Organisation Psychology from Chicago School of Professional Psychology – USA, and is a Certified Career Coach. Nina is specialised in Human Resource and Management Consulting with over 20 years of experience in institutional policies and procedure formulation, SAP – Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Application and payroll systems review and implementation, Compensation and Benefits, Job evaluation, Salary Surveys, Organisation restructuring and workload analysis, recruitment and selection, as well as competency skills assessment.

 She has acted as a lead consultant for various companies in Kenya and abroad including various international development agencies and NGOs.

Prior to joining BernardFrank, Nina worked for International Business Machines (IBM), PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), KPMG, and Ryder Logistics in USA.

Seth Kasera

Senior Manager

Seth is a Senior Manager at BernardFrank under our Business Advisory Consulting line of service. 

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management (Finance and Banking) from Moi University, an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Nairobi as well as a post graduate diploma in IT systems.

 Seth has 10 years’ experience in strategy and operations and has helped businesses and organisations realise competitive advantages and growth through strategic planning and execution, project management, business transformation, operational excellence and strategic organisational structuring and research.

Prior to Joining BernardFrank, Seth worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), KPMG and Digital Disruptions.

Julian Muga

Director

Julian is a Director at BernardFrank and also the leader in charge of our financial services business advisory focusing on Banking, Fintech and SMEs industries. She also drives our Innovative

Finance and Impact investment portfolio. Julian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business (Finance) and an MA degree in Strategic Management both from United States

International University of Africa (USIU). She is a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and is a Certified Retail banker from Retail Banking Academy (UK). Julian is a respected financial services consultant with 15 years’ distinct industry experience in business strategy, financial inclusion and credit risk management, revenue growth, and business turnaround. 

She works with lending and deposit taking institutions as well as SMEs and INGOs in the financial inclusion space to design bespoke strategies towards business growth and impact investing as well as business incubation related advisory work for SMEs.

Prior to Joining BernardFrank, Julian worked for Barclays Bank (Absa Group) and Maersk.
