Ben Omollo



Ben is a Partner at BernardFrank, and also the director in charge of our assurance services for governments and donor agencies. He holds Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Strathmore University, and MSc. degree in Public Financial Management from University of London (UK). He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K), and a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, as well as Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Previously Ben worked at PriceWaterHouseCoopers Kenya and GFA Consulting Group of Germany.

Experience Summary

Ben is specialized in public financial management reforms and economic policy,including governance systems audits and evaluations. He has acted as fiduciary/fiscal agent for various donors and governments in Africa.

World Bank Group, US Government Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), The Global Fund, USAID, US Centre for Disease and Control (CDC), UNDP, The Kenya Auditor General, Various Africa Governments, Public Universities, and INGOs. Nick Nyaure



Nick is a Partner at BernardFrank and is also the Director is charge of our International Development Assistance Consulting (IDAC) as well as our Forensic and Business Recovery Unit. He holds Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from University of Nairobi, MSc. degree in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain from University of Salford (UK), and MBA from United Stated International University. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K), and Chartered Procurement Specialist (CPS-UK).

Previously Nick worked at PriceWaterHouseCoopers Kenya, Mott MacDonald (UK), and Chevron of USA.

Experience Summary

Nick is specialised in IT systems audit, management systems, procurement audits, company restructuring and acquisitions and forensic fraud investigations.

Over 30 Oil and Gas systems audit, World Bank Group,Hospitality, Financial Services including Banks, telecommunication, parastatals and retail. Over 40 management and procurement systems review, and acting as procurement agent for various governments and donors in the region.

Nina Ambeva

Associate director


Nina is an associate Director at BernardFrank, and is also the leader of our Human Resource Consulting Practice. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from United States International University (USIU); she is a Certified Career Coach,and a Masters degree in Industrial and Organization Psychology from Chigago School of Professional Psychology – USA.

Previously Nina worked at IBM (International Business Machines), Pricewaterhousecoopers, and Ryder Logistics in USA.

Nina is specialised in Human Resource and Management consulting, administrative and operations policies and procedure formulation, SAP – Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Application and payroll systems review and implementation,Compensation and benefits, Job evaluation, Salary Surveys, Organization restructuring and workload analysis, recruitment and selection as well as competency skills assessment.

Eric Otieno



Eric is a partner at BernardFrank under advisory and financial services; he is also the leader in charge of our corporate finance and management consulting. Eric holds BA degree in Economics from Moi University, and MA. degree in Corporate Finance from Cambridge University (UK). He is a Chartered Accountant(ACCA-UK).

Previously Eric worked at Pricewaterhousecoopers Kenya.

Experience Summary

Eric is specialised in complex capital transactions and deals including mergers and acquisitions. He has comprehensive experience in government and public sector assurance and international aid agencies such as the World Bank and DFID.
